ReplyDeleteIsn't that the truth! For me, plying fringes on a scarf isn't nearly as much fun as weaving it. That tapestry is going to be really beautiful, though, so the finishing is as important as the weaving. Wish I could see the piece in person.

ReplyDeleteAt least I have none of that tedious finishing to do on mine - just the second panel to start.
I'm with you, Tommye, on the tedium of finishing. I am sewing slits and they just go on and on. I am thinking of starting to use weaving techniques that will produce far fewer of them.
