Yay! Love the little frames
These small frames were custom made for the pieces... I'm quite thrilled with the way they look. They're exactly what I wanted... Jeff did a great job with them.
All the work will be delivered to Quinlan on Monday. I'm almost through with the pieces--am stitching on the last of the tapestries now, the large quilt one. Artist statement to go and inventory of the works I'll be showing... maybe I'll be able to enjoy the day on Thursday and not feel so rushed to complete everything after all. Fingers are crossed!

ReplyDeleteThanks, Sue!
ReplyDeleteYou and family have a great Thanksgiving.
The frames are perfect! Another thing to be thankful for, right?
ReplyDeleteHave a great Thanksgiving, and enjoy the exhibit.
beautiful little tapestries and each one looks so right in its own frame.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kaite!
ReplyDeleteThey look amazing. Goes to show that tapestry doesn't have to be complicated to be effective. Megan
ReplyDeleteLooks amazing. Just goes to show you don't have to have complicated tapestry to be effective.
ReplyDeleteThanks everyone...
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving to all!
Oh! I wish I could see all of these at once in person! The frames look fantastic.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Rebecca... I'm looking forward to seeing them installed. I hope to be able to place them together and stacked a few inches apart. I'll use all of the landscapes together and might not include four others that are quite a bit different in subject and colors.
ReplyDeleteThe show space is small so it's going to be challenging to hang all of the pieces and make a cohesive show that's not jumbled looking, I think. But having the opportunity to exhibit the work is exciting.
These look very interesting; I wish I could zoom in on them to see detail. The frames are perfect for them; how lucky to have someone who could do this for you. ~Annie
ReplyDeleteThey look wonderful in their matching frames. I hope you'll post some photos of how they look hanging together.
ReplyDeleteYou're giving me ideas, perhaps I'll ask my woodworker husband to make me some frames for mine.
