I'd hoped something would be chosen for the upcoming second volume of the anthology. I submitted three short essays that are memoir in nature... one out of three to be accepted isn't bad!

Some good news today!
I've just learned that an essay I'd submitted to the second volume of The Stonepile Writers Anthology has been accepted for publication by the University Press of North Georgia! Two of my poems were included in the first volume and one of my photographs was also selected for the cover -- I mentioned that at this blog post: http://tapestry13.blogspot.com/2011/01/lots-of-loose-ends.html

Wow! Congratulations, Tommye! And I'm
ReplyDeleteglad to hear your weekend tour went well. It's good to get back to a semblance of 'normal,' isn't it? Whatever normal is...!
Congratulations!!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!! Wonderful good news!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!! So nice to hear good news.
ReplyDeleteThanks to you all! I was thrilled to know one of the submissions had been accepted.
ReplyDeleteYes, semblance of "normal" is indeed what it is! I told my husband something like that on Sunday evening, in fact... "Well, I guess we can get back to what passes for 'normal' for us, now!"
Congrats Tommye! And really, tell me that there isn't such a thing as "normal", because if there is, I'm afraid my life is far from it! Not being normal is more fun anyway. So carry on!
