Florida Tropical Weavers Guild Conference draws to a close

The only photo of today's cutting off that I have in my iPad photos is of Scott, who was first to take scissors to warp. See a few of the others around in the background as they cheered him on. I'll post more photos when I get home and can download from my camera. This was truly an outstanding group who came together for this class experience and I so much appreciate being asked to teach at the conference.

Next, I've got to get on home and back to the feathers on the loom for a few days before the Steve Aimone workshop. Happy St. Patrick's Day to everyone!

More hard work today-- half day remains

Sidsel won Best in Show in the Fiber Exhibit! She's my class assistant--the assistants are called Class Angels by the Florida Tropical Weavers Guild Conference and Sidsel has indeed been an angel to all of us in tapestry.

Maybe we'll be able to get a graduation photo tomorrow--will we have time?

So much accomplished yesterday!

What a great group of participants--a better mix of personalities would be hard to find. Everyone jumped in, assembled looms, warped and began. Here's the room at lunch time and a few of the samplers underway.
