Florida Tropical Weavers Guild Conference

I've just gotten back from a two and half days in class with twelve wonderful tapestry weavers at the Florida Tropical Weavers Guild Conference held last week/weekend at Lake Yale Conference Center.  I'll post some photos of the class and also of the February John C. Campbell Folk School class in a day or so.

For the rest of this week, though, I'm going to spend some time in the studio getting my weaving life & space back in order!  My version of spring cleaning, I guess.  I have some ideas for how to change the storage for my paper works, the multiple drawings, paintings and mixed media things, as well as the cartoons for tapestries.  But to get to the point of making those storage changes I'll have to move those things around a bit--well, a lot.

I have one more class on schedule for this summer and it's only a couple of months away!  It's the one at Arrowmont that I'm calling "For the Love of Color--and More":
Arrowmont School of Crafts
Gatlinburg, TN
June 28-July 11, 2015
Registration begins in mid-Nov. Here's a link to my class.
I'm looking forward to it and I hope to see you there!
