Next loose end to tie up is the completion of the earlier kudzu tapestry, the one I'm calling "Life Force"--it was accepted into an exhibit to be held at the Bascom in Highlands, NC--got to deliver it next week. I'll have two pieces in the exhibit, American Craft Today, October 2-December 18. The juror was Carol Sauvion, the executive producer of the "Craft in America" PBS television series.

ReplyDeleteThe size is 23" w x 20" h. Sett is 8 epi of 12/15 cotton seine twine and the weft is a blend of Vevgarn (wool & Spelsau) and also a 20/2 worsted wool. Both the wefts I used come from Norway.
