I draw on the back of the mylar with the sharpie once I begin a shape--try to make it continue in a logical way over and around other vines that are in the foreground.Tommye McClure Scanlinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09816922767294739515noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-716048807398679258.post-12297487760329104642010-02-01T12:59:00.193-05:002010-02-01T12:59:00.193-05:00Yes, in my weaving there always comes a point when...Yes, in my weaving there always comes a point when I think the whole thing was a big mistake (not in things like towels or scarves, but in my more "creative" stuff). And there also come times when I wonder why I didn't just design out the whole thing in detail ahead of time and then just follow the directions. But that's really impossible because what i see in the weaving affects upcoming decisions and I have to see it in the weaving, not in the painting, the drawing, the drawdown...........<br />I'm loving following this piece.Peg in South Carolinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07886923838871937466noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-716048807398679258.post-4616194997143429292010-02-01T11:08:59.053-05:002010-02-01T11:08:59.053-05:00I'm not sure where I lose the excitement, but ...I'm not sure where I lose the excitement, but I do know that if my mind begins to wander to the next project, the one I'm on suffers. I know it's the creaming and creating that is most exciting for me. Are the changes as you go helping you stay interested?Jenniferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05932533858016149807noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-716048807398679258.post-58275298095439061752010-02-01T08:29:08.802-05:002010-02-01T08:29:08.802-05:00I always hit the tired whiny bored stage of any pr...I always hit the tired whiny bored stage of any project at the 70% mark. Close enough that I know I'd finish soon, but I start having to force myself to work on it before starting something new. Keep going, it's looking great! And as someone who lives in a kudzu-infested area, that's saying a lot :)RattleFoxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08204764989962617757noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-716048807398679258.post-73720227383399767152010-01-31T20:16:23.491-05:002010-01-31T20:16:23.491-05:00I really like this viny thingI really like this viny thingcarollhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13967023858682474720noreply@blogger.com
