Some progress...

... tricky bits here with the spirals of the fiddleheads.  I have to weave around them about 1/2 way and then fill in.  So I'm weaving here and there in different parts of the tapestry.   I'm also making a transition to lighter background area throughout the left side and to the top at the left.  That's taking a bit of time... weave it in, see how the value looks, take it back out, try something else, take it back out.  That's how much of the morning was spent above the lowest left fiddlehead.

I advanced the warp a couple of days ago and now I can't see the bottom area--but I can see the top part of the cartoon.

So here it is at the end of today, Wednesday.  And here's where it will probably stay until after the trip to Arrowmont to teach.  I've got preparation work to do for the class and will be using most of the next several days with that.  I'm looking forward to the class, by the way!
